STORYTELLING EVENT Wednesday 29 October, 12 noon – 3pm FREE, drop in and join in Suitable for the whole family
Storyteller Sue Andrews will delight audiences of all ages with storytelling on Wednesday 29 October, 12 noon – 3pm. This event is one of many free activities for families to enjoy together at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.
Sue Andrews’s stories will be influenced by the current temporary exhibition Keep Up: New Work by Jacqueline Donachie, exploring themes of family and relationships between siblings. Sue will be writing some original pieces that she will adapt for the audiences and families on the day.
Learning and Engagement Officer Penelope Thomas explains, ‘Sue is an accomplished storyteller who has worked with organisations such as the BBC. We are looking forward to her fun filled stories, which promise to entertain and inspire the family audiences that visit Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.’
There will be a number of drop-in storytelling sessions throughout the afternoon.
Sue Andrews is currently Storyteller in Residence for Sandwell.
