Walks
Manor Garden Walk
A 45 minute tour of the garden highlights and history with a Garden Guide.
Each open day at 11.30am, and 2.00pm Wednesdays and Fridays.
Meet outside the Manor Gift Shop
Water Garden Walk
A tour of the private Water Gardens at The Dairy with a Garden Guide.
Thursdays at 2.00pm.
Meet in the Stables Courtyard.
Please note: the Water Garden terrain is not recommended for those with any walking difficulties. The tour is limited to 20 visitors. We may occasionally need to exchange this tour with a Manor Garden walk, subject to restrictions.
Talks
Meet the Aviary Keeper
A 20 minute talk about the Aviary and its work, with a member of the Aviary Team.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 2.30pm. Meet in front of the Aviary.
Wine Cellar Talk
A 20 minute talk on the Rothschilds and wine with a House Guide.
Each open day at 2.00pm in the Wine Cellars.
Discovery Talks
A 20 minute talk by one of our House Guides that uncovers an aspect of Waddesdon’s extraordinary collection and history.
Each open day at 12.30pm. In the Power House.
Films
The Rothschilds and Waddesdon
A 20 minute rolling film on Waddesdon’s history.
Each open day from 10am to 5pm (except 12.30-1pm) in the Power House.
The Art of Wine
A 15 minute rolling film about the History of Rothschild Wines.
Location: The Wine Cellars.
Windmill Hill Open Afternoons
Explore the architecture and art at Waddesdon’s new archive building. Open most Thursday afternoons 2pm to 4pm until 23rd October.
